WHO/WHAT: We’re excited to support this fabulous repeat East Wind family as they search for their next great nanny! With two full-time work-from-home parents (behind closed doors, no micromanaging), this family is looking for someone confident and kind to step in as their child’s primary caregiver during the school year and full-time buddy during breaks. Their kindergartener is independent, creative, and full of ideas—think afternoon craft sessions, backyard trampoline time, and the occasional deep dive into made-up places with names like “Kittyland.” She loves her routines, thrives with gentle structure, and absolutely lights up when adults lean into her world and play along. The day begins with school pickup (just a mile down the road) and flows into snacks, homework help, outdoor play, crafts, or low-key adventures like museum visits, nature walks, or playdates. The family would love someone who’s comfortable stepping into their rhythm and helping things run smoothly on all fronts—think starting dinner, flipping the laundry, or grabbing the groceries while keeping the day fun and engaging for their daughter.
THE IDEAL NANNY IS…Reliable, upbeat, and ready to jump in. You’re naturally organized, comfortable taking the lead, and thoughtful about how you show up each day. You know when to get silly and when to guide things back on track. You’re flexible with the family’s schedule, always on time, and genuinely enjoy being around school-age kids who have lots to say and even more to do. The family appreciates someone calm, proactive, and communicative—someone who can build a solid relationship with their daughter and become a trusted, steady part of their week. They’ve had a wonderful experience with their current nanny and are hoping for another long-term fit—ideally someone who will grow with them over the next year (or more!). If you're someone who enjoys a good balance of structure and creativity, prefers play to screen time, and feels confident managing the moving parts of a busy weekday, this family would love to meet you.
