WHO/WHAT: Books are meant to be touched. Songs are meant to be sung. Stuffed animals all deserve names. If that sounds like the kind of childhood you'd love to help create, this role may be exactly what you're looking for.
This sweet eight-and-a-half-month-old is happiest when someone slows down enough to experience the world alongside her. She doesn't just listen to stories—she explores them. Every page is something to feel, every picture deserves a closer look, and every book seems to become an adventure. She adores music, is wonderfully social, gives the very best cuddles, and has already decided the family cat is one of her favorite companions. Calm, curious, and delightfully easygoing, she's at that magical stage where every week brings a new milestone worth celebrating.
Her parents have intentionally staggered their parental leave so she's been surrounded by family throughout these precious first months. They're hoping to find someone whose presence quickly brings comfort, confidence, and peace of mind. Both parents work remotely. They'll occasionally pop out to say hello or share lunch if schedules allow, but they're also committed to giving their nanny the space to build an independent, meaningful relationship with her. They aren't looking for perfection—they're looking for partnership. Open communication, kindness, and mutual respect matter far more than pretending to have all the answers.
Your days will revolve around creating a warm, engaging rhythm centered on this little girl. Read one more book. Sing one more song. Celebrate the tiniest accomplishments. Spend time on the floor building towers. Encourage curiosity through sensory play, conversation, and plenty of laughter. As trust naturally grows, the family would love for their nanny to enjoy outings to parks, story time, and other local adventures that continue expanding her little world. Household responsibilities are intentionally light and focused on supporting the child: washing bottles, children's laundry, and helping keep her spaces ready for another day of exploring.
This family hopes to find someone who becomes part of their story for the next two to five years. They're hoping to find someone who will celebrate first words, first friendships, and all the wonderful milestones still waiting around the corner.
THE IDEAL NANNY IS…THE KIND OF PERSON WHO MAKES TRUST FEEL EASY. You understand that trust isn't built through grand gestures—it's built through consistency. You arrive when you say you will. You communicate openly. You notice the little things. You naturally create calm wherever you go, giving parents confidence that everything is handled with care. You're gentle, patient, and genuinely fascinated by babies. You narrate your day, sing without feeling silly, read books with enthusiasm, and find joy in slowing down long enough to experience the world through a child's eyes.
You're professional yet approachable, proactive without being overbearing, and confident enough to take ownership of your role while always respecting that parents make the final decisions. You understand that first-time parents may occasionally ask questions or simply want reassurance, and you welcome those conversations with warmth rather than defensiveness. Most of all, you're hoping to build something meaningful with a family that will value your experience, appreciate your heart, and welcome you as an important part of their daughter's earliest years. If you're the kind of nanny who believes the greatest privilege is being invited into a family's story—we would be honored to introduce you to this very special family.
