WHO/WHAT: Do you find joy in the beautifully unscripted moments of childhood — the giggles that bubble up out of nowhere, the pockets full of “treasures,” and the spontaneous dance parties that erupt the moment Frozen comes on? Do you melt a little inside when a child throws their arms around you for a surprise hug or plants a giggly smooch on your cheek? If so… welcome home. You may have just found your perfect long-term family. This snuggly, affectionate family is excited to welcome an experienced, steady, and delightfully playful nanny to join them for the next three years as they transition from a trio to a family of four. Their 4-year-old is a nature-loving, sticker-collecting explorer who adores anything silly — goofy dances, Bluey-style imagination games, puzzles, and outdoor adventures. She attends preschool in the mornings and summer camps in the summer, so your days will include transportation in your own vehicle, creative play at home, outings to parks or trails, and helping her prep for big-sister life. Both parents work remotely with occasional in-state travel, so no two weeks look exactly the same — but there is always structure and plenty of communication. You’ll have a guaranteed 40 hours/week, with advance heads-up (typically at least one week) if an earlier start or a later end time is needed.

With a new baby arriving this spring, you’ll bring confidence and gentleness to infant care — feeding, snuggling, soothing, and juggling the needs of two little ones with ease. During baby’s naps, you’ll help keep the home humming with simple, thoughtful tasks: children’s laundry, bottle washing, vacuuming, tidying, and light pet care. Their two senior dogs are the ultimate low-maintenance companions — professional nappers who just need water, food, and a quick backyard potty break to stay happy. At its heart, this family hopes to find an extra grown-up their children can trust implicitly: a steady presence, a positive role model, a patient nurturer, and someone who genuinely enjoys getting down on the floor to play.

THE IDEAL NANNY IS…LOVING & PLAYFUL - silly when it’s time to be silly, calm when someone needs grounding, patient when big feelings show up, and affectionate in a way that makes children feel deeply safe. You bring common sense, kindness, and a natural instinct for turning everyday moments into meaningful ones. You see yourself as an extension of the family: the loving adult when Mom and Dad aren’t around, the steady hand guiding a preschooler’s curiosity, and the nurturing presence caring for a newborn with confidence and gentleness. You value open communication, trustworthiness, and becoming a true teammate in a household. You’re comfortable navigating shifting weekly schedules, staying flexible when travel weeks require slight time adjustments, and stepping into the day ready for whatever small adventures arise. Bottle washing? Easy. A million stickers? Bring them on. A pocket full of pebbles, twigs, and acorns? You’ll admire every single one. If you’re dreaming of a long-term role filled with joy, outdoor exploration, creative play, and the chance to truly shape two little lives — then APPLY and tell us why this feels like home.
