WHO/WHAT: Is your superpower walking into a busy home, spotting what needs to be done, and making it happen before anyone has to ask? If so, you’ll fit right in with this Lawrenceville duo. This professional two-dad household—one partner a corporate lawyer, the other a medical student—seeks a proactive household manager who thrives on both hands-on tasks and behind-the-scenes coordination. With long workdays and minimal downtime, they want someone who can create calm, order, and efficiency in their home. Day-to-day, you’ll tackle a wide range of responsibilities: tidying and laundry, changing sheets, dishes, and restocking essentials; scheduling appointments, making phone calls, and running errands; setting up dog care, walking their two gentle doodles, and occasionally chauffeuring them to the dog park or vet. Meal prep is a big win too: while both partners enjoy being in the kitchen, what they need most is help with the behind-the-scenes prep—chopping, organizing, and planning kosher-style dishes (no pork, shellfish, or meat + cheese combos). One prefers tried-and-true comfort meals, while the other is eager to explore new recipes and flavors. This role blends in-person hours with some flexibility to work remotely (for calls, scheduling, or meal planning). The family is preparing for the arrival of their first child in 2026. At that point, they plan to welcome a full-time nanny, so the ability to collaborate and communicate well with another household professional will be essential.
THE IDEAL HOUSEHOLD MANAGER IS…ADAPTABLE & POLISHED. You see what needs to be done and do it with excellence — whether that’s organizing the fridge, booking an appointment, unloading the dishwasher, folding sheets just right, or wrangling two big (but very sweet) dogs for a walk. Tech-savvy and proactive, you don’t wait for instructions — you anticipate needs and bring solutions. You’re punctual, organized, and trustworthy, with excellent communication skills and the ability to toggle between hands-on tasks and remote coordination. Most of all, you take genuine pride in helping a household run smoothly, seeing your role as more than chores — it’s about creating space and margin for a busy family to exhale. Huge bonus points if you love dogs, have experience in household management or executive-assistant style roles, and can see yourself growing with a family. If you’re ready to bring order, efficiency, and calm to a household that’s about to get even more exciting — apply today!
