WHO/WHAT: If being a trusted teammate to a devoted Grandma sounds like your kind of day, this role will feel like home. This loving Mt. Lebanon family is seeking a nurturing, interactive nanny to join their household long-term as they welcome baby #3 this spring. The nanny will become an integral part of the family’s caregiving team, working closely with the children’s grandparents - affectionately known as Gaga and PapPap - who live just 2 blocks away and currently provide full-time care during the day. Your support will allow them to give each child more individualized attention, especially once the newest little one arrives. Your days will include everything from reading books and playing make-believe with a spirited preschooler to guiding a curious toddler’s explorations and cuddling a newborn. You’ll bring steady energy and creativity to each day—whether it’s crafting, making music, dancing, or playing outdoors. Behind the scenes, your help with children’s laundry, bottle and dishwashing, light lunch and dinner prep, vacuuming, pet care, and keeping toys and clothes in order will keep this busy home running smoothly. The family’s oldest attends Montessori school in the mornings during the academic year, and summers may include camps or more time with siblings. The ideal nanny will see this as a collaborative, team-oriented role—someone who naturally supports the rhythm of the household, communicates openly, and loves partnering with family members who share a heart for hands-on caregiving.
THE IDEAL NANNY IS…A team player through and through! You’re nurturing, proactive, and trustworthy—someone who notices what needs to be done and steps in with care and confidence. You delight in engaging children through songs, books, and imaginative play, and you’re patient when the day calls for flexibility. Reliable and punctual, you take pride in clear communication and a job well done. Experience with infants and toddlers is important, and a background in early education is a welcome bonus. If you’re looking for a long-term position where you’ll be appreciated, supported, and truly part of the family—this is your chance to make a lasting difference. APPLY today and join this loving crew as they welcome their newest little one!
