WHO/WHAT: Are you calm under pressure but playful on cue? Do you love a toddler’s wild imagination just as much as a baby’s first smile? This sweet family is looking for a full-time nanny who can confidently juggle both phases—caring for a bright, almost-three-year-old and a snuggly baby. Your days will blend baby snuggles and bottle washes with toddler adventures to places like the library, Poppins Playhouse, Soergel’s, and the neighborhood park. The toddler thrives with structure, kindness, and fun—think obstacle courses, pretend play, and puzzles galore. Meanwhile, the baby is in the early rhythm of feedings, naps, and coos, so experience with infants and their developmental stages is essential. The parents work from home but have created a dedicated nanny/kid-friendly zone in their finished basement —your own little world to explore and enjoy with the kids. The parents deeply value a caregiver who is proactive, intuitive, and emotionally steady. Someone who doesn’t stress easily, has strong judgment, and can jump in with creative, enriching ideas without constant instruction. Household duties are light and child-focused—mainly washing bottles and doing the children’s laundry.

THE IDEAL NANNY IS.....STEADY HEARTED. You bring a sense of calm to the room—and a spark of fun to the playroom. You’ve got a solid grasp on toddler behavior and infant needs, and you know how to respond with patience, empathy, and just the right mix of structure and warmth. You’re steady in the chaos, unbothered by spit-up or sudden meltdowns, and you instinctively know when to offer choices, when to redirect, and when to just sit and listen. You’re creative and curious—someone who can turn a Tuesday into an adventure, whether it’s a puzzle marathon, a sidewalk safari, or a quick trip to the library. You don’t need a playbook handed to you—you come ready with ideas and the confidence to take initiative. But you also know how to read a room, follow the family’s lead, and communicate with kindness and clarity. You take safety seriously, handle emotions gently, and believe that childhood should feel both secure and full of wonder. You’re the kind of person who notices the little things—like when the bottle supply is low, or when a toddler needs a snack and a snuggle. This is a long-term role for someone who truly loves this work—and who wants to be part of a family that values trust, communication, and raising kind humans. You’ll be well taken care of here: guaranteed hours, generous PTO, and your own snack drawer that magically refills itself. If you're hoping to grow with a family and help two little boys thrive—we'd love to hear from you.
